People in England love to talk about the weather. It's one of those British stereotypes that is just SO true (FYI the stereotype about their teeth is less true). But to be honest, when it comes to British weather, there isn't much to talk about. The weather in England is pretty much like the people here. It's got a stiff upper lip and it never reveals much raw emotion. Maybe I'm a bit of a Midwestern drama queen but I like my weather a little more extreme. I like my snowstorms in the winter, and my cracking lightning and thunder with down pours of rain in the summer. In England the weather is just so moderate *yawn*. No natural disasters around here!
Anyways everyone across the globe seems to be bragging about spring lately, how the temperature is perfect and its sunny and beautiful. Well we had one good spring day this weekend, but it's back to ever so ordinary grey skies and slightly chilly temperatures for now. Fingers crossed we'll get more brag-worthy weather soon, but here are some pictures of spring in the English countryside. Hope you like them!
I like England but I don't like the rain. Your rural pics are awesome! I love horses, even though I was scared of them back in the days... :P
ReplyDeleteI love the picture of the horse and the dog ! So funny !
ReplyDeleteI love England, and I think that England without it grey sky, it's not England !
Beautiful pictures !
xx
your pictures are beautiful! i'm jealous, i would love to go to england. can't wait to see more soon (:
ReplyDeleteI just love your pictures! I'm very envious of you living in the English countryside... I've always wanted to live there :) Even if just for a bit! How long have you lived in England?
ReplyDeleteCan you please teach me how you take such incredible photos. amazing.
ReplyDeleteloved the teeth comment. ;)

ReplyDeleteIt is so beautiful there I hope you love the countryside .
I miss you .
Love, Mom
I love all these pretty pictures. In Arizona we have extreme thunderstorms. & I love it. You literally have never seen a thunderstorm until you see one in Arizona. But it's really the only extreme weather I can handle. We felt the aftershocks of a California earthquake last week and that was too much for me even. Anyway, hope you get pretty spring weather though. :) xx
ReplyDeletehaha under violet - if you like england, but don't like rain, then how on Earth can you like England??? All it does here is rain! All the time!
ReplyDeleteThanks everyone for saying I take nice pictures. I'm a cheater though. I just bought a fancy camera I cant afford and I use it like a point and shoot.
Angela I've lived in England since July. We just moved to the country from London when my husband got a new job. I like it better here than London.
The picture of Heidi and the horse is precious!
