Nick's best was for Valentines Day when we were still long distance and he gave me a "voice over IP adapter" which is a small grey gadget box. I had no idea what this did, but turns out it was to save HIM money while making long distance phone calls to me.
The Pita [seriously] asked if I wanted a "really nice" blender for my birthday. Same outcome.
